Every year we look forward to the surprise of our winemaker’s special blend. Our 2016 Trencadis red blend has a ruby red color similar to our Tempranillo. It has an amazing combination of aromas...strawberry syrup, plum skin, sassafras, raspberry jam, white pepper, Jasmin and fresh fennel.. Juicy, full flavors of pomegranate juice, cranberry and raspberry sorbet combine with soft, dusty tannins and lead to a long lingering finish. This beautifully balanced wine is a testament to the art of blending flavors and textures. Liz suggests pairing this wine with raspberry Balsamic glazed chicken.
